...We are Springing into Summer at the Ramsey Farmhouse in Franklin, North Carolina, located in the Great Smoky Mountains of the Appalachia.

The almost 3000 sq ft/five bedroom American Four-Square style house was built in 1922 and will be celebrating its 85th Birthday by debuting as a newly renovated, historic vacation get-away! The home is located on family land, and owned by the great-granddaughter of Clara and Lawrence Ramsey and her husband.

Situated in the heart of Iotla Valley (Peaceful Valley) and at the head of 80 acres of family forest and fields, the Ramsey Farmhouse has sweeping views of gently folded mountains and farmland, which can be seen for miles and miles.

Iotla valley is rich in rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, enough to keep any nature lover occupied for days. Historically, Iotla Valley was the location of a large and important village of the Cherokee people. A small, quiet municipal airport nested in the center of the valley, is a perfect place for private aviators to house their aircraft while they relax at the Ramsey Farmhouse.
